SIG Sauer has taken a standard scope design and moved up the technology branch with the SIERRA3BDX. Within the normal looking scope is the technology to exchange data with a SIG Sauer BDX Compatible Kilo range finder which will allow the scope to give a holdover point on the reticle. This Ballistic Data Xchange (BDX) lets you simple connect the dot. By Combining Second Focal Plane stadias, with an OLED illuminated ballistic holdover dot that automatically scales with zoom to subtend on target at any magnification level. This scope also has the KinETHIC feature allowing the hunter to receive an indication when the energy of the bullet on the target would drop below a threshold set by the hunter. Other features are MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination) that powers up when it senses motion and powers down when it does not that provides for optimum operational safety and enhanced battery lifeand Auto LevelPlex, automatically increases digital level sensitivity on longer shots.
